Dialogue
writing
1.
Suppose you are
Maruf and your friend is Rony. Write a dialogue in 100 words between you and
your friend about how to improve/learn English.
Here is a dialogue between Myself (Maruf) and my friend
Rony about how to improve/learn English:
Myself: Hello Rony. How are
you?
আমি নিজে: হ্যালো রনি, কেমন আছো?
Rony: I’m fine. What about
you?
রনি: আমি ভালো। তোমার খবর কী?
Myself: I have become
serious about learning better English. From today, I will not speak Bangla with
you.
আমি নিজে: আমি ইংরেজি শেখায় খুবই গুরুত্ব দিচ্ছি। আজ থেকে আমি তোমার সাথে বাংলা বলব না।
Rony: Why? রনি: কেন?
Myself: The reason is
simple. I want to practice spoken English.
আমি নিজে: কারণটা খুবই সাধারণ। আমি স্পোকেন ইংলিশ চর্চা করতে চাই।
Rony: It’s a good
proposition. I agree.
রনি: এটা খুব ভালো একটা ধারণা। আমি তোমার সাথে একমত।
Myself: Yes, if we want to
develop our spoken English we have to speak in English always.
আমি নিজে: হ্যাঁ, আমরা যদি স্পোকেন ইংলিশ উন্নত করতে চাই তবে সবসময় ইংরেজী বলতে হবে।
Rony: It’s true. Moreover,
we should not think of other’s criticism.
রনি: তা সত্য। তাছাড়া, আমাদের অন্যের সমালোচনায় কান দেয়া উচিৎ নয়।
Myself: We should also
develop our reading and writing habits.
আমি নিজে: আমাদের লেখা এবং পড়ার অভ্যাসও উন্নত করা উচিৎ।
Rony: But how can we
do that?
রনি: কিন্তু কীভাবে তা করবো?
Myself: We can develop
reading skill through reading literature and newspapers. We can develop writing
through writing familiar topics.
আমি নিজে: সাহিত্য এবং পত্রিকা পড়ে আমরা আমাদের পড়ার দক্ষতা উন্নত করতে পারি। পরিচিত বিষয়ে লেখা-লেখি করে আমরা লেখার দক্ষতাও বৃদ্ধি করতে পারি।
Rony: I have
difficulty in understanding English.
রনি: আমি ইংরেজি বুঝতে সমস্যা হয়।
Myself: It’s a problem for
me too. But I have developed a lot by listening to BBC.
আমি নিজে: এটা আমারও সমস্যা। কিন্তু বি.বি.সি শুনে আমি অনেকটা উন্নতি করেছি।
Rony: For this wee need to
know grammar.
রনি: এ জন্য আমাদেরকে গ্রামার জানতে হবে।
Myself: Yes, we cannot
avoid it. Grammar is necessary for making the language understandable to all
and for better communication.
আমি নিজে: হ্যাঁ, আমরা এটা এড়িয়ে যেতে পারিনা। ভাষাকে সবার কাছে বোধগম্য করে তুলতে এবং ভালো যোগাযোগের জন্য আমাদের গ্রামার প্রয়োজন।
Rony: Yes, I agree. Now,
let’s go to the class.
রনি: হ্যাঁ, আমি একমত। চলো এখন ক্লাসে যাই।
Myself: Ok.
আমি নিজে: ঠিক আছে।
